SMARTBOX has announced a re-branding initiative that will convert its Big Box branded locations to the SMARTBOX brand.  SMARTBOX acquired the Big Box brand in 2009. This will solidify its position as the No. 2 portable storage provider in the United States. The initial locations to be re-branded will be Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Portland, and the New York City metropolitan area.

SMARTBOX CEO Bryan Bostic said “Our Big Box Storage franchises have done a great job building their businesses in their local markets. By moving to the SMARTBOX brand, these franchises will be able to improve marketing opportunities and customer acquisition for all of our franchises.” Existing customers will be able to take advantage of long-distance moves to almost anywhere in the country.
